I made you a thing!

Hey Reader.

Holy guacamole, it's December my friend and according to a quick calculation I just did there are 26 days left in 2025.

People keep asking me if I'm running Design Your Year again. The answer to this is a big fat YES!

This intention setting to the community is the backbone to my year, and I know it's the same for many of you.

So, just to reassure that the reason I haven't sent you any comms about it is not because it's not happening. But because I've been spending way too long on new fun resources, and not enough time on telling anyone about it.

What I can tell you is that it'll be kicking off 10th January online so if you are planning on coming hold some time for it. Tickets will go on sale soon.

In the meantime, is there is something that you haven't got to yet this year, but you really don't want to carry over into 2026?

I have a brand new free tool for you.

It's called the GOALar bear (see what I did there).

It's for you if:

you set a goal at some point this year that you just haven't looked at at all?

or

there is something you started back in the heady hopeful days of early 2025, that you got half way through and then lost momentum on?

or

your to do list is a half finished mix of postits, a trello board and random notes in your phone.

This tool will help your addled pre-Christmas brain plan out the tasks to achieve the goal, and make it seem less like serious work shit, and even make it seem fun and less scary. I promise.

  1. Download the GOALar Bear here. Print it off (or recreate it in your notebook if you don't have a printer, we'll have no printer procrastination please!)
  2. Write the thing you want to get done at the top
  3. Write all the little steps that you might need to do to achieve that thing
  4. When you do one of the little things colour it in (and give your brain a nice little hit of dopamine and feel good creativity vibes)
  5. Split the wedges in two or three if you run out of space

Here's one I made earlier:

You've got this.

With love,

Hey Reader. Wow, the last few months have been a lot for me. Last night I gathered with my lovely intention setting community and there was a whole lot going on for people, so I’m guessing you might feel the same. I’ve been taking some time out to rest and process after a huge life change (more on this at some future point). But then I realised I haven't been in touch for ages. When I don't email this Wild & Free community for a long time it can turn into this really big thing. I feel like my...

Heyooo Reader, This week's email is about what happens when you learn to better manage your inner critic. This time last week, I was on the way to host the networking event I run once a month for women in business. It was fabulous, full of uplifting, supportive, awesome connections - as it always is. But, that's not what this email is about. Picture this: I'm standing there, on the very busy overground train, drinking my tea and reading my book, surrounded by humans. The train stops, and more...

Hey friend, In my job I spend a lot of time connecting with people, but often through a screen. I'm sure it's the same for many of you These days I find that when I'm called to show up in person I often don't look forward to it. The voices that go through my brain tell me things like: "it's a lot of time wasted traveling" "think of all the tasks you could tick off your to do list" (things like writing this newsletter at 10am when I normally do rather than at 6.22pm before I sign off from the...
